April Programs: From Coast to Coast
One week left to apply to our Memorial Day Weekend Retreat!
Hi friends,
Some people say April is the cruellest month, but it’s also the month that the Brooklyn Botanic Garden starts updating its cherry blossom tracker, and I can’t think of many things nicer than that 🌸
In Little Nights news, there’s one week left to apply to our Memorial Day Weekend Retreat! Join us for 3 days of writing workshops and a chance to expand your creative practice/community with a small crew of others. We’ll be back at an old farmhouse in Hudson and I can’t wait to dive into everything we have planned.
In addition to a nice line-up of NYC events, we also have two Drink ‘N Drafts in San Francisco, led by our own Tess Murphy.
We’re just getting started on the west coast, so if you have any buds in the bay, let ‘em know! And if you forward them this email they can get a discount to their first event (promo code: LNinSF).
Last thing, I’m running two online workshops starting at the end of April and the end of May, one through Narratively and one through the Center for Fiction.
Check below to learn more about everything we have coming up and hope to see you soon!

Workshops
I’ll be leading a virtual version of Finding Your Writing Rhythm through Narratively, starting April 30th.
This is a six-week course, where instead of generating new work the focus is on developing a sustainable practice, and finding new ways of integrating writing into your daily life.
I’ll also be leading an online workshop at the Center for Fiction, starting May 26th. Together, we’ll analyze one published short story and workshop two participant submissions each class.
